The Brief
The project was originally approached as a straightforward office relocation moving 40 users from EPG’s old building to their new site in Tunbridge Wells. The scope for the relocation changed on several occasions, going from just user’s IT relocation and user’s furniture, and finally to users, furniture, and server relocation! We even moved the communications racks!
Further to conversations with both the team at EPG and at Infinity, it was decided that Ace would work on the physical relocation as well as assist the support company with the re-commissioning of all rack equipment at the destination environment.
The Relocation
Three days for three services; IT office moves, server relocation and the disposal of redundant IT equipment. Between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon Ace IT Relocation successfully relocated over 60 user’s PC’s, three racks worth of server equipment moved in our custom-built foam lined server flight cases protected with anti-static bubble wrap and then disposed of over 200 items of redundant IT equipment!
Before leaving the site, Ace re-patched the comms room and performed all live tests to confirm the system was up and running and that all data ports within the new environment had full connectivity.
Result
EPG Health Media were in a position on the following Monday morning that everything was live & ready to start up first thing bought on from a successful migration project.

EPG Health Media initially engaged Ace IT Relocation for what was expected to be a straightforward office move, but as the scope evolved, the team trusted us to deliver a broader, higher-risk relocation covering end-user IT, comms racks and the secure processing of redundant equipment. Working closely with EPG and their support partner, we provided clear planning, organised execution and a smooth re-commissioning at the new site — including re-patching and live connectivity testing to confirm services were fully operational.
The result was a low-disruption move completed with confidence, giving EPG’s internal team the reassurance and headspace to stay focused on day-to-day priorities throughout the transition.
